On the morning of October 2nd of 2012, American Airlines, flight number 1862 was scheduled to fly from Dallas, Texas to St.Luis, Missouri. about ten minutes after taking off, the plane had to return to Dallas-Fortworth airport . The cause of the turn around came from the landing-gear that jammed during take-off. Some of the passengers on the flight recall thinking that maybe it was just a scenario the pilot and flight attendants put on because of the recent flight issues earlier in the week. In previous weeks, there had been problems with the seats on the planes becoming loose. In one case, during mid-flight a seat came loose and completely flipped over. Since this last problem American Airlines has announced it will resume the stalled contracts with their pilots which could lead to problems between the nations airlines and their pilots. Trying to find a solution to their recent problems, The airline company has pulled their "Boeing 757's" jets which all together add up to 47 of their jets. These jets were pulled out of service to make sure there were no longer any problems with seats becoming loose which all together has happened three separate times. After these occurrences the FFA inspected all planes to reassure this would not happen again.
